  • From Rt. 1:
    Exit at Plainfield Ave. (the exit from Rt. 1 North is a jughandle to cross back over Rt.1). Take Plainfield Ave.( RT. 529) north(name changes to Stelton Rd.) Make right turn onto Hamilton Blvd. At traffic signal just past Rt 287. Make left turn at next traffic signal(at overpass) keeps you on Hamilton Blvd. (name changes on route to Lakeview Ave, then Plainfield Ave. Make left turn after the 4th traffic signal into Municipal Building Parking Lot.

    From Rt 287 North - Take Exit 4 - S. Plainfield/Durham Ave. Right turn from exit ramp onto Durham Ave. Go straight over overpass onto Hamilton Blvd. and follow above directions.

    From Rt 287 South -Take Exit 5 (Edison). Turn left from exit ramp onto Stelton Road (RT 529). Make right turn onto Hamilton Blvd. at traffic signal just past Rt 287. Make left turn at next traffic signal (at overpass) keeps you on Hamilton Blvd. (name changes on route to Lakeview Ave., then Plainfield Ave. Make left turn after the 4th traffic signal into Municipal Building Parking Lot.

    From Rt. 18- Follow Rt. 18 North over John Lynch Bridge, continue straight - North on Metlars Lane (Rt. 609). Turn left at third traffic signal-Suttons Lane intersection - to stay on Metlars, then keeping bearing right. Left turn at T-intersection with Stelton Road. Make right turn onto Hamilton Blvd. just past Rt 287. Make left turn at next traffic signal (at overpass) keeps you on Hamilton Blvd. (name changes on route to Lakeview Ave, then Plainfield Ave. Make left turn after the 4th traffic signal into Municipal Building Parking Lot.

    Note on parking- The Municipal building parking lot may be crowded. Spaces marked "residents" or visitors" or unmarked paces are okay to park in. There is an unpaved, stone parking area in the back that usually has spaces open. Failing that, exit the parking lot and take Lake Ave. into the residential area and park in the street.
